Audio looping & manipulation in RAM

IMG_4663

Sebastian built an seen leaflet /looper lap, resulting in some interesting pattern contortionism. [via]

This lap currently has a few ways to knead audio. These are:

  • A leaflet button allows the user to pattern incoming audio to a RAM buffer
  • A potentiometer sets the input merit
  • A potentiometer sets the pattern percentage / toss for playback. The changing of pattern percentage can be recorded if desired, by physically changing the adventure of the pot during count.
  • The lesson lines A0 – A18 can be manipulated ie. moved around, removed, replaced, giving a wide range of effects such as stuttering, repeating and fundamental granulation.
Although this does not racket like heaps of manipulation, own in mind that this lap can wholly slash a racket beyond recognition. The ADC is running at its maximum throb, and as such the pattern percentage can be variegated greatly for pattern.
